The Insurance Association of Türkiye (TSB) shall not, under any circumstances, accept any liability arising from the use of these values as the basis for any transaction. These values are determined with reference to market prices to assist member insurance companies in establishing the casco values of the motor vehicles they insure and are communicated to TSB members as part of an industry service. The Motor Own Damage Insurance Value List includes vehicles up to 15 model years old. While the prices of new vehicles included in the list are based on the non-discounted prices announced by authorized distributors, including VAT and SCT, the values of second-hand vehicles are determined with the contributions of INDICATA. Since the Motor Own Damage Insurance Value List does not differentiate vehicles based on mileage, damage history, or cosmetic condition, the average value may be taken as the basis for second-hand vehicles of the same type and model year. For the verification of the vehicle values determined, sources such as second-hand vehicle listing websites, importers, manufacturers and their websites, dealerships, relevant industry publications, newspaper advertisements for second-hand vehicles and their websites, as well as invoices and similar documents submitted by the buyer or seller, are used.
